How, the 32bit codebase is far more mature then the 64bit...?

64bit can handle data much more faster than 32bit can! :P

The only practical reason I can think of (With the exception of running a server) for running x64 is gaming or getting better performance outta CS3/CS4 progs, neither of which are much of an issue on Linux.

That's what I was thinking too, for higher end things. I don't think it'll benefit me for listening to music, chatting and surfing the web haha

It benefited me for doing basic tasks when using you-know-what.... :P
